On January 14, 2009 I had an unexpected automated draft that put my account into the red of around 10.69 the charge was still in the pending mode. So, I quickly transfered enough into my account to cover it before the closing of that charge. Once an overdraft has been covered and the amount turns black then the customer isn't to be charged. Well, how about later I checked my account and Bank of America had charged me 4 $35 overdraft fees totalling $140. I phone Bank of America about the charges and the customer service representatvie continued to tell me why I was charged all these overdraft fees although I am explaining to her accurately why I should not have been charged. She then said that "I WILL NOT BE REFUNDING YOU ANY OF THE FEES. CAN I HELP YOU WITH ANYTHING ELSE?" I told her yes, "GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!" I am now in the process of filing a complaint with the BBB.  I have in the past with Bank Of America and I was successful in retrieving my money. This has happened over and over with this bank. If anyone who knows that they have been illegal charged overdraft fees by this bank from 2000-2007 visit this site: http://www.clossonsettlement.com/. There is a Class Action Lawsuit of $35 million against Bank of America.
